Russians hit Kyiv’s Okhmatdyt pediatric hospital.
Neonatology, oncology and dialysis departments are damaged.

Okhmatdyt covers an entire city block, about a square kilometer. Russian forces targeted the toxicology department where critically ill children on dialysis were receiving treatment, said Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko. He also noted that surgeries were underway at the time of the attack.

Zeilen is launching a fundraiser to purchase and send aid to the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv that was attacked by Russia this morning.


20 pediatric oncology patients have been relocated from Okhmatdyt to the Kyiv Regional Oncology Center. As Okhmatdyt is the main facility for treating such cases, the pediatric ward at the Oncology Center was not fully equipped to handle this influx of patients, particularly given their existing patient load.


The shortage of suitable equipment has forced some children to be connected to adult medical devices. there is now critical need for infusion pumps capable of long-term, precise, and controlled administration of medication.

Where will my donation be used?

We have received a specific request from one of the hospitals that has taken in patients from Okhmatdyt's cancer department.


They are in urgent need of Spaceplus Infusomat infusion systems. Their minimum requirement is 6 units, but any additional systems would be greatly appreciated.


The systems are available in Ukraine for purchase and are reserved for us. Total amount is ~ €30 000.

Stitching Zeilen Van Vrijheid is a volunteer-run non-profit organisation registered in the Netherlands. Since March 2022, we have delivered 193+ ambulances, 107 support vehicles, and 650+ tonnes of medical aid. We also done targeted projects to support hospitals with energy sources, Kakhovka region with access to clean water, and dialysis patients with portable energy stations.
